 Through my work I strive to convey something very tangible but also create a space in which the viewer’s own inner life can be regarded. 
Combining traditional realist technique with my own textured brushwork, layered surfaces and multi-media elements, I often paint Isolated sources of manmade light in scenes void of human presence to evoke a stage like setting and sense of paused narrative.
